Tiemoue Bakayoko closing in on Galatasary

Tiemoue Bakayoko could be set to leave Chelsea on another season-long loan deal after Galatasaray opened talks to sign the out-of-favour midfielder. The 24-year-old joined Chelsea in a £40m transfer in 2017 after helping Monaco win the Ligue 1 title and reach the Champions League semi-final the season before. However, he endured a difficult debut season at Stamford Bridge after being signed to replace Nemanja Matic and spent last term on loan at AC Milan. Although Frank Lampard was keen to give all of his players a fresh start at the club, Bakayoko doesn’t feature in his plans for the upcoming campaign.
